Online orders will ship on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week.
You may expect delays regarding your shipment.  Contingency plans are in place and UPS is working to move shipments to their final destinations as quickly as conditions permit.  Please note that "UPS Service Guarantee" is currently suspended for all shipments.


  Payment Options

1.     If you have FAFSA (Financial Aid), getting Vocational Rehab or VA support, choose the “Financial Aid” option in the payment section.  Your books will be charged to the appropriate account.
2.     If you are receiving an activity scholarship (Softball, Livestock Judging, Music, etc.) choose “Activity Scholarship” in the payment section. Your books will be charged to your scholarship account.



Due to COVID-19, we are offering a virtual buyback this semester. If your book is eligible to buy back, you will receive a prepaid shipping label (free).  Once the wholesaler receives and accepts the condition of your book, payment will be sent to you.  To see if your book is eligible, please click on the link below.

Refund Policies



All returns must be accompanied by the cash register receipt and returned by the date specified on your refund policy attached to your register receipt.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable .
  •  New books must be in “new” condition. No marks or writing. All components must be Included. 
  • Used textbooks must be in resalable condition 
  • Unacceptable textbooks or packages postmarked after the return deadline will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

General Merchandise

All returns must be accompanied by the cash register receipt. Gifts and supplies are returnable for 15 days from date of purchase and must be in original, new condition.



All returns must be accompanied by the cash register receipt. Clothing must be in its original condition with tags intact. It must be returned within 15 days from date of purchase. Christmas purchases have 30 days from date of receipt. No refunds on sale merchandise.


Computer hardware and software may be returned within 5 business days from the date of purchase. Product must be in “new condition”, 100% complete, in original, unopened and resalable condition.  An additional $8.00 UPS insurance fee will be added to the UPS shpping charges when shpping computers.


Shipping Policies

Orders placed with credit cards will be processed once the order has been compiled and packaged to ship according to shipping policy below. Orders placed after 9:00 a.m. CST will not be processed until the following business day. This includes all expedited delivery orders.

  • Financial aid for SPRING, 2017 classes will be available 10 business days prior to the start date of classes.  We will start to ship SPRING textbook orders on this date. If your financial aid is not available on this date, we will not process your order until your account shows you have funds available.  FEBRUARY 3  is the last day financial aid can be used to purchase textbooks for the SPRING 2017 term. If your financial aid is not available by this date, your order will be canceled and you will need to reorder your books using a different payment method. If we need to contact you concerning your order we will use the email address you provided.
  • Financial aid can only be used to purchase books, software, DVD’s, supplies, computers, and required nursing uniforms. Financial aid is not a payment option for general merchandise like gifts and apparel. If you have elected to use financial aid for general merchandise, that portion of your order will be canceled.
  • We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Please be sure to provide the actual street address for delivery. Orders submitted with P.O. Box for shipping address will not be processed. Customer is solely responsible/liable for incorrect delivery information submitted at time of order and you will be charged extra for incorrect information if Butler incurs additional charges.
  • Destination Sales Tax—All orders shipped within the State of Kansas will be adjusted to comply with Destination Sales Tax Guidelines. The amount your order is taxed will be changed based on where your order is being shipped per State of Kansas. Orders shipped outside the State of Kansas are tax exempt.
  • Shipping Policies—Please give us one business day to gather your materials. We will send notification to email address provided if there is a problem with your order. No orders are processed on weekends or holidays. Note: Shipping and handling charges apply to continental U.S. orders only.   • How long will it take to receive my shipment? 
    • Standard (arrives in approximately 4-7 business days)
    • 2nd Business Day (arrives in approximately 2-3 business days)
    • Next Business Day (arrives in approximately 1-2 business days)

 Note: 1-2 business days are required to process and pack orders for shipment and are factored into the above estimation. “Business Days” means Monday through Friday, with the exception of holidays.
